Aquatic Centre really making a splash
An outdoor spectacular will be taking place this April to celebrate the launch of the brand new Aquatic Centre. The massive celebration featuring light projections, pyrotechnics and outdoor theatre and dance will take place on April 17, the day before the opening to the public of the city's new Aquatic Centre, next to the Stadium of Light.

City Centre now online
Thursday 3rd April saw the official launch of the Sunderland City Centre website. A host of business owners and dignitaries joined the Mayor of Sunderland at the launch as City Centre Manager Louise Hardy unveiled the new site and gave an informal presentation on how everyone can use it.
